About Us
Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
NinePatch’s commitment to racial equity is not only inherent in the NinePatch Platform’s attention to enhancing access for disadvantaged platform clients, but also evident in our corporate staff make-up. Fifty-five percent (55%) of our staff is comprised of ethnically diverse professionals as we strive to employ the best suited professionals to join our team, irrespective of race, gender or sexual identity.
At NinePatch, we view each community as having unique goals, priorities and needs as defined by their unique blend of partners, customers, clients and existing vendor relationships. That requires us to implement our solutions with a focus on enabling the community to succeed through the lens of both needs, and success is defined within each, rather than in a “one size fits all” methodology. We select our own partners and vendor relationships with that perspective in mind, which gives us the ability to be effective in ever-varying situations and communities.
We have a ‘preferred language’ framework to govern client communications (consent forms and requests, care team invites, etc.). Currently, Spanish has been implemented but any other language could be plugged in. We work with each community to decide what languages their populations need and use a combination of translation software and human-editing to ensure proper messaging and an appropriate literacy level.
