NCHIIN Launches NinePatch® Whole Person Care SDOH Solution

North Coast Health Improvement and Information Network Goes Live With Whole Person Care SDOH Solution

EUREKA, CA and KNOXVILLE, TN, USA, February 11, 2022—The North Coast Health Improvement and Information Network Launches the NinePatch® Whole Person Care SDOH Solution.

NCHIIN, a California non-profit health information exchange and health improvement organization in Humboldt County, is officially live on the NinePatch Whole Person Care SDOH Platform. This milestone is a major move for NCHIIN on its mission to improve health throughout Humboldt County.

“Our decision to go with NinePatch was based on our belief of superior functionality and we feel that that is a reality. We have found that to be true as we have had time to learn and understand the platform.” says Martin Love, CEO at NCHIIN. “I think the product and idea of a CIE and the opportunity to work on that as a community, really does make it a Community Information Exchange. It was very, very gratifying.”

This news comes in the wake of many recent initiatives and accomplishments of NCHIIN, including accomplishing a co-design and engagement initiative with their community partners to help prepare for this launch with NinePatch throughout Humboldt County.

The NinePatch Whole Person Care platform has been successfully implemented since July 2020. The platform won second place out of 114 teams nationally in the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s SDOH innovation competition.
